ABFA release glossary

The ABFA has today released a glossary of basic terms and product descriptions to help to clarify the products available from the Asset Based Finance industry. This document has been put together to help members of the public understand the use of 'Asset Based Finance' as a generic term to describe the industry as a whole, and the products that come under that banner of, Factoring, Invoice Discounting and Asset Based Lending.

The aim is that it will help clarify definitions for those not familiar with this industry's type of funding and also help standard terminlogy within the industry, in the hope that press coverage begins to have a more consistent use of these terms. We are more than happy for Member and Affiliate marketing departments to use the document when speaking with journalists, and clients, if they think it will provide a clearer understanding of the industry as a whole and the product set available.
